Anthropology

Anthropology offers two undergraduate programs: a B.A. in Anthropology (30 hours) and a minor in anthropology (18 hours). We offer courses in each area of anthropology, including cultural and linguistic anthropology, archaeology, and bioanthropology, using a four-field approach to understanding human cultures. The major requires that students take a four-course sequence designed to provide foundational knowledge in anthropology. The minor requires that students take 18 hours of coursework, drawing from across the core and elective options.
