How to Apply
To apply for admission to the M.A. Program in Anthropology, follow these two steps:
STEP 1: Apply to the Graduate School.
Follow instructions for filing an application online at the Graduate School’s website.
STEP 2: Upload the following materials to the online application
-Official transcripts – you do not need to submit GRE scores to apply to the program.
-Three letters of recommendation – provide the names of three letter writers and contact information, and they will receive a prompt to upload their letters online.
-A statement of purpose, or letter telling us what you want to study and why you want to study with us.
Upload these additional materials to the online application. Department decisions are made after the graduate school application is complete. To ensure consideration for a departmental assistantship and other funding, complete your application by March 1st.
